ECLAS
The Education of Children Looked After Service (ECLAS) works in school and out of school to support children looked after, raise achievement, promote attendance and lower exclusions. The multi-professional team consists of teachers, learning mentors and a Connexions personal advisor and works with a wide range of other support staff within a ‘virtual school’ model. ECLAS offers teaching support to individual children and young people and plays an important role in raising the profile of this group with all other agencies.
