Talking Objects

Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums successfully delivered a Talking Object Project in February Half Term 2011 at Segedunum Roman Fort, Baths and Museum.

The object

The group

The group we worked with were aged 16-18 and were from BASE, a young people’s centre in Whitely Bay, North Tyneside. The group were not in full time education and had not visited the Museum before.

The project

The project involved the group, group leaders, Museum staff and curators working together for four days to look at and interpret the object and create a film documenting their week.
